    KAWOW The old spam thread was waaay over. And I kept checking, too! But then we tried to revive the forum and it was the last thing on my mind. X)

    BTW, you all should take a look at MLIA: My Life Is Average. There are over 300 pages, so you should be kept busy. Some, are not so funny. There are a lot that made my day, though. I started reading four or five pages a night to lift everyone’s spirits up and make them LOL. X) Thank GG for the insanity.

    Today's MLIA: Today, I asked my little cousin what he wanted to be for Halloween. he told me he wanted to be a cash register.     omg you guys I am so sorry for disappearing, haha. life=CRAAAZAYY. I can’t really post about it because some of the craziness is not stuff I’d like on the internet, but yeah. Mostly it’s school and stuff, though.

    BTW, you guys! I’m going to the Hague (aka Amsterdam) in January! For an MUN conference called THIMUN – it’s very prestigious, only 18 out of 80 people from my MUN program got chosen to go, and I was one of them! Can you believe? I’m soooo happyyyyyyyyy! I’ll even be spending my birthday there.

    I may have to start watching Flash Forward. Why? Because Dominic Monaghan just joined the cast. ;-)

    Meh, I'm not too happy with my costume this year...I raided the costume storage room at the theatre and found this southern belle type dress, but I don't know if I wanna wear it anymore...so I might end up being Bellatrix again. I did find a ton of great dresses for when I do Little Women: The Musical for my senior project next year, so that's good.

    We have the day off for parent teacher conferences today. But I have to go in to school anyway for a few hours for NHS. I love being a nerd. XD

    Two friends of mine came with me to raid the costume storage area of my local theatre, so I snagged a southern-belle dress at the last minute and was Scarlett O'Hara. It was pretty sweet, actually. I have a huge list of ideas for next year though, including Elphaba and Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd.

    Yeah, just got done with a deep discussion. Mom saw the term ‘switched teams’, and the words ‘c***’ and ‘cigarette’ in my NaNoWriMo book. I argued that it was the character voice, but then I realized that wasn’t her point. She was just looking out for me and making sure I was careful about the way I expressed myself cuz she knows my goal is to get this out into the world. Sometimes, she treats me like I’m extremely mature and she trusts me and stuff. I love my okaasan. <3

    Totally random aside: I was at a bookstore today to pick up something and when I was checking out the lady asked me if I wanted to donate a book as part of a drive for foster kids in the area.     I personally loved the Tarzan soundtrack. It stands out in a pretty kind of way, but not too much. Because a soundtrack you think about as you watch the film isn’t so fabulous, IMO. It’s distracting. :P But Tarzan’s really enhanced the movie.

    Aladdin is just a classic. So catchy. And fun. Thank you, Disney, for giving me fun musicals before I could even say, ‘Pretty hair’. XD

    So...can anyone here transcribe music by ear? It's a simple song (melody line + some arpeggios) and I don't need rhythms, just pitches. I play solo handbells/handchimes and this would be a perfect piece for it, especially since I have a friend who plays harp. Otherwise, does anyone know where I could find someone that could?

    I've only read Howl's Moving Castle and Castle in the Air, along with parts of the Tough Guide to Fantasyland, which was hilarious. I loved both of them just because they're so matter-of-fact when it comes to unexpected events.
